Potato «Idaho»
The Idaho potato is one of the most commonly made potato side dishes in the world. Despite its American origin and the original name (potato is just the main crop there), in Russia it is better known as village potatoes. Most often it is served with fried meat. Meat can be in any form: steak, burger, thin straws. However, «Idaho» is quite convincing without protein staples. On my own. Like your own state of Idaho.
